The final conference of the Pro-Health 65+ Project was focused on presenting results of the last project stage devoted to the implementation of the project research and policy findings. Conclusions and recommendations drawn from the pilot trainings for health promoters were presented. The training experience was discussed with a wide range of stakeholders from the participating countries.
A special session was devoted to the final project report which should include the assessment of the implementation of the European Healthy Aging Strategy in European countries. For this debate, health policy makers, health economists and other experts from the European region were invited. During the conference, the sustainability strategy for project achievements was also presented and fine-tuned. Researchers and health promotion professionals from the Netherlands, Poland, Italy, Germany, Portugal, Lithuania, Bulgaria, Greece and the UK, among others, took part in this conference.
